I’m Isabella Littleford—a fashion industry veteran who’s spent years discovering how luxury blends with real-world fashion.
Having spent more than ten years in fashion, I’ve had the honor of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and partnering with renowned design icons worldwide. That experience taught me to recognize luxury-level detail, forward-thinking design, and pieces that last. There’s something endlessly fascinating about Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that effortlessly marries a vintage-inspired edge with luxury-level build quality. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, highlighting their aesthetics, practicality, and adaptability.
Whether you’re a die-hard sneaker collector or simply looking to inject a bit of chic into your wardrobe, I’m here to guide you through it all with insights drawn from my years in the fashion trenches. Let’s explore what makes these sneakers a standout choice!
A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also had them long enough that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.
So I’m diving into a bunch of popular FAQs, as well as where you can find them on sale, in the sections below! Also, if you’re in the mood for more fashion reviews, have a scroll through my comparison of Abercrombie and Agolde jean shorts, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and review of my Dudley Stephens fleece!
Where did you purchase them?
I discovered mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that way!
Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick which was a major plus
How much do they cost?
When I grabbed my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their standard price is around $514.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
Are they true to size?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
Are https://pinkgoldengoose.com/v-star-pink.html they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Plus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a low-key version would also go with everything.

Where can I find a pair like yours?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
How much do they go for?
When I ordered my pair in spring, I paid $385.43, but their standard price is around $514.
Golden Goose sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they reduce sweat. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
